I ordered these guides the way the 16 October games API description reads, then I slotted Update 5 on top: Hallowkeep is zone 12, and it opens only after every Soulforge research is done. I am not ranking money methods I have not timed.

Read them in this order

  • Start with the beginner guide: what you click before the crew mines for you.
  • Read how to dig deeper and the research tree: how a gate actually opens.
  • Use a summon scroll, then find the shrine: the scroll is useless until the shrine is unlocked.
  • Read enchanting and mutations: dice, potions, and the two luck passes.
  • Push through Soulforge, then Hallowkeep: zone 11 is the door to zone 12.
  • Trading unlocks in the last zone, according to the official game description.
  • The Colossus level picker moved in Update 5.
  • Gems come from event ranks and the gem shop, not a secret menu.
