Mutation rolls change a character's mutation, not the character or ore discovery rate. The official passes raise mutation-roll luck without publishing each outcome's base chance.
The official API, checked 17 October, lists Mutation Luck at 99 Robux for x1.5 roll luck and Major Mutation Luck at 799 Robux for x5; each says it stacks with mutation luck potions. The sample effects below come from a third-party page dated 15 October whose text I rechecked today. They are not my own rolls or a complete tier table.
Mutation luck sources and their evidence
Mythic Luck Potion is separate. Update 5 says it doubles Mythical and Exotic luck for 10 minutes, but does not say it boosts mutation rolls. It is not included as a mutation modifier here. Neither the pass descriptions nor the reports establish a formula that converts these luck labels into outcome probabilities.

Before and after a roll
- Record the character, current mutation, damage, level, pickaxe and enchants before spending.
- Read the current roll cost and odds display. Update 5 says mutation luck passes now appear in the odds window.
- Check the actual active mutation boost rather than counting Mythic Luck Potion as one. No pass purchase is required to use this checklist.
- After rolling, record the resulting mutation and compare mining on the same rocks with other gear and boosts unchanged.
- Keep enchant rolls separate: Enchanted Dice and the recorded Earthquake effect are enchant evidence, not mutation names or mutation odds.
Frequently asked questions
Do luck passes help me find more ores?
The 15 October record says mutation luck does not change character or ore find rates. Super Drop Luck is the separate x1.5 drop pass.
Does x5 luck mean a 5% chance?
No. A luck multiplier is not a base probability, and no verified outcome formula is supplied here. Golden Gate King's recorded summon percentage is not mutation odds either.
Does Mythic Luck Potion improve mutations?
The official Update 5 description does not establish that effect. It names Mythical and Exotic luck, so I do not count it as mutation luck.
